Who We Are
The Cheondam Peace Foundation was initially created as a social group called Cheondamhoe in 2003.
Starting in 2021, the organization underwent a rebranding process and officially became registered as a non-profit organization with the Canadian federal government under the name Cheondam Peace Foundation Canada. The foundation seeks to prepare for the era of reunification beyond ideological division and promote a third paradigm that values peace, reconciliation, and cooperation. In addition, the foundation also recognizes the importance of contributing to Canadian society and decided to take its first step toward supporting Indigenous communities. The foundation aims to support Indigenous communities and North Korean defectors through the love of peace and sharing.
